as a palestinian it literally brings me to tears how many people are speaking out about what is going on right now. none of this is new and has been having for YEARS, we’ve been forgotten and abandoned and it’s so amazing to see my entire feed filled with people speaking out and
doing their best to spread awareness about the horrific and disgusting things Israel has done.
many palestinians like myself whose families have been displaced have spent years watching from the sidelines as our country has been stripped entirely of its people, land, culture and traditions. i can’t begin to count all the nights i’ve spent in front of my TV
watching news with my dad and hoping that my family in palestine is safe. the hundreds of times i’ve watched from the rooftop of apartment in Jordan as Israel would send missiles on thousands of families. We’ve spent YEARS begging for people to do anything but only
being able to watch silently as everything we cared about was destroyed. Watching people talk about this and hearing the pain that palestinians go through brings me and my family so much validation. I’m not trying to make this about myself but I can’t help but get emotional.
our voices have never been heard before...please don’t let this go and please don’t forget us. This won’t end now but please keep talking and spreading awareness about palestine because it’s all we have left.

i just want to clarify that I do not live in palestine. My family was forced to leave when my father was still a child. I come from a family of refugees who had to start over in Jordan and lost everything. My family and I do not live in palestine and are safe.
