After the 2015 general election, were the Sun, Telegraph, Daily Mail and Express telling people the Tories should focus on recovery from the global financial crash rather than a "divisive" EU referendum? No chance. Democracy only matters when their side wins. This time they lost.

-Johnson& #39;s hard Brexit mandate was won with
43.6% FPTP vote share
56.2% of FPTP seats
46.5% of all FPTP votes against #PeoplesVote

- Sturgeon& #39;s mandate was won with
47.7% FPTP vote share
85% of FPTP seats
49% of all FPTP votes for #IndyRef2

And that& #39;s intentionally using FPTP votes, specifically because we& #39;re comparing like for like. Because on the list, #IndyRef2 parties actually won more than 50% of the vote share.
