I have my issues with Richard Wolff, but one of his best arguments is that economic planning happens all the time under capitalist production. Business executives cant just not have a business plan to maximize profits and do everything spontaneously.

So the debate between capitalism vs socialism is not between whether you support planned economies or not. There& #39;s planning in both. The difference between the two is who gets to do the planning and for what purpose (meeting people& #39;s needs vs maximizing profits)
