Typing this out still feels surreal, but here we go! After four incredible years, I’ve made the decision to move on from @Pokemon. Today is my last day!

I can’t say enough good things about my team and my partners, both internally and externally. It’s so rare to leave a job with so many friends. I got to do so many incredible things, it’s impossible to sum it all up in a thread RIGHT NOW because I’m emotional, but I will say that becoming a Pokémon video game character is something I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life. I still can’t believe it.

I also really want to thank the Pokémon community for being SO supportive of me all these years. I worked 10 times harder every single day, just to do you all justice.

Please know that the people I’m leaving behind TRULY love Pokémon and Pokémon fans the same way I did.

I’m crying too hard to keep going! I’ll likely share more memories as they come to me later, if that’s okay.

I do want to share this: in 2017, I had the opportunity to meet and briefly work with the President of the Pokémon Company (Japan), Tsunekazu Ishihara. It was AMAZING.

You’re probably wondering what on EARTH I could be doing next! I’m taking next week off but will be starting my new job on the 17th, so I’ll share details then!
