1. Set up an @FNBSA online banking profile.

FNB collaborated with PayPal in 2010 to help South Africans easily retrieve their PayPal funds. You don’t have to bank with FNB in order to use this service, they have an option for non-customers.

2. Make sure you have a PayPal account set up

3. Sign in to your FNB online banking profile and link your PayPal account. Select ‘My Bank Accounts’ and choose ‘PayPal Services’. Follow the prompts to link your PayPal profile and you’ll be good to go

Remember that you can link non-FNB bank accounts.

4. Once your PayPal and FNB accounts are linked, you can withdraw PayPal funds directly from FNB online banking. Do not make the mistake of logging in to PayPal to try and withdraw the funds. Remember to go to FNB online banking and check out the PayPal section in ‘My Accounts’.
5. FNB online banking has an in-built system for withdrawing your funds. It takes about 2 mins to make a withdrawal request.

There is a withdrawal fee of 0.81 - 1.51% of your total amount. It usually takes between 2 - 5 business days to receive funds.
