A male beast from Aussieland, prone to making outrageously stupid statements & inappropriate behaviour while generally having a very high opinion of their own wisdom & importance.
Often found in boss roles, the cockwomble australis is thought by anthropologists to have evolved from the cockwomble scotia /kɒkˈwɒmb(ə)l ˈskəʊʃə/, after migrating to Aussieland during the 17th and 18th centuries.
Cockwomble anglia /kɒkˈwɒmb(ə)l ˈæŋɡlɪə/, a close cousin of both the cockwomble australis and cockwomble scotia.
A cockwomble australis pictured interacting with a cockwomble americana /kɒkˈwɒmb(ə)l əˌmɛrɪˈkɑːnə/, aka cockwomble supreme /kɒkˈwɒmb(ə)l suːˈpriːm/. The species are said to be very similar in terms of biology and behavior.

A particularly notable species in the cockwomble family is the cockwomble brazilia /kɒkˈwɒmb(ə)l brə-zĭl′yə/ - known for displaying the characteristics in their strongest form.
Some members of the species, such as this cockwomble arabia /kɒkˈwɒmb(ə)l əˈreɪbɪə/, are so confident of their self-importance that they will attempt to hurt the creatures around them in an act of self-preservation.
Some examples of the cockwomble australis are considered particularly aggressive.
Others are barely recognizable.
