okay! here we go - lore!
The Aeland Calendar
an Aelander year is 360 days long, divided into 8 months of 45 days each
it& #39;s very much a northern hemisphere/agrarian kind of calendar, and if you& #39;re a pagan wondering if there& #39;s any connection to the wheel of the year? gold star.

The months are:
Snowglaze
Firstgreen
Blossoming
Merrymonth
Summerstide
Applebranch
Leafshed
Frostmonth
the first day of the month is a traditionally observed holiday and no one (except essential personnel and exploited wage workers) goes to work that day.

the days of the week are a bit more confusing, because a lawmaker tried to end confusion about when a work week actually started so bosses could fiddle with overtime and other acts of wage theft. they were named, rather prosaically, firstday, secondday, midweek, etc.
people don& #39;t use those names. or they do. they will say firstday, as the official start of the work week. they will say sixthday, because that& #39;s the first day of the weekend. and they will say midweek, because that& #39;s payday, and everyone likes that.
but most people use the old names, which dictated the activities of the day: sowing, meeting, making, blessing, joining, placing, and restday.
some people stick to this even though it& #39;s superstition, and they won& #39;t attend a marriage that isn& #39;t on Joining, and they& #39;d never dream of moving a new piece of furniture into a house or workplace on any day but placing - even though that& #39;s sixthday, and supposed to be a day off.
i was going to make it an eight day week but i could not keep it lined up in my head so i went with seven.
and that& #39;s the Aeland calendar! thank you to @_frankcesca for the question!
