Yesterday night at work, a patient was badly off... screaming "musawo, my stomach wants to burst..help". So I rushed and tried to examine and tried to give a pain killer which stopped pain for like 5 minutes( I& #39;m a student nurse)
Yesterday night at work, a patient was badly off... screaming "musawo, my stomach wants to burst..help". So I rushed and tried to examine and tried to give a pain killer which stopped pain for like 5 minutes( I& #39;m a student nurse)
So I didn& #39;t know what to do next,I called the doctor on night duty...he was on WhatsApp chatting. I explained to him what the patient felt and expected him to rush.
Guy told me " just ignore that one, you think other patients are not in pain?"

I felt so sad because nothing I could do for her

Today morning at around 7am we lost the patient

In my power as a student nurse I could only give a pain killer...the rest was up to the doctor
