2)Then there was the disenfranchisement of those on parole. 3)Then their is Automatic voter Registration which was passed into law in 2020 but won’t go into effect before 2023. Access issues to Voter registration often gets in the way of voter participation. 4)Then of course there is name recognition which plays an outsized role in election (e.g“yeah I’ve heard of them, maybe they’re good?
