The idea that people are flippantly identifying as trans for clout or to be popular is TERF rhetoric that has no basis in fact.

I& #39;m really very tired of this galaxy brain thing where trans people act like nonbinary folks are Hurting The Cause by not pretending to be cis.

My take is that it would be absolutely grand if every cis person had the space to take a "gap year" of gender exploration where they tried on different labels and asked themselves what their gender is and allowed themselves to consider that they might be trans. Bc they might be!
And takes like these that argue you& #39;re basically a woman if you don& #39;t feel 100% Definitely Not A Woman For Sure hurt people who needed time to edge away from "cis woman" to whatever they really are.
