bug fables has good characters in general but leif really punches above his weight in the same way i think kim in disco elysium does. not in that they& #39;re similar characters but because they just have something Extra about them that you can& #39;t help but be attracted to

they have just 2 or 3 extra little quirks that other characters don& #39;t get to exhibit. and they all just "work". like kim being really into cars. or leif being obsessed with everyone& #39;s pets

it& #39;s just decent character writing to give your characters interests or ways of expressing themselves that you wouldn& #39;t expect from their broad characterization, but it& #39;s another thing to do it several times over and still have it all feel cohesive and "right" for that character
