as things progress it becomes abundantly clear jons last relationship was not healthy. he seemingly has no boundaries. when tim asks for his limits jon looks confused & says thats for tim to decide; jons job is to take whatever tim gives him.
he doesnt seek his own pleasure either, expects that if its something he deserves tim will grant it. if he isnt deserving he can make up for it by making tim feel good
the whole thing sits like a lead weight in tims gut. he does his best to help jon unlearn it - establishing boundaries and encouraging jon to ask for what he wants. but it’s clear jon previous dom did a number on him & jon doesnt recognize how toxic their arrangement had been
tim does his best to not think about jons ex, to not wonder who the asshole was that messed with jons head. that is, until he’s returning from dropping a book off at the library and sees elias talking to jon down the hall.
he has jon back against a wall, speaking to him in a tone too low for tim to hear. jons eyes are trained on the ground, until elias tilts his head up with a finger under his chin. the gesture is casually possessive and speaks of a long standing history.
