personally, as a californian enby, i use "dude" in a gender neutral way because goodburger (he& #39;s a dude, she& #39;s a dude, they& #39;re a dude, we& #39;re all dudes) &i would rather be called "dude" than be misgendered, but i also understand & respect those who don& #39;t think it& #39;s gender neutral!

(this is why i go by they/dude, if it wasn& #39;t clear before; "siya" is the only pronoun in tagalog, my first language.)
