u know how people who don& #39;t know how to properly criticize films end up just pointing to a billion surface level errors & such which they blame in place of the bigger structural problems they& #39;re too unskilled to properly analyze? people talk about spiderverse like that in reverse

whatever the film appraisal version of plotholes is, thats how i feel about every aesthetic detail & animation quirk and well framed shot that lasts for like half a second that ppl spout on and on about in lieu of explaining why the film is even particularly special
