Maybe I& #39;m alone in this, but any time I see an argument based on what "the founders intended," my only response is "who gives a crap?"

Several of them lived out their intention to enslave people? They didn& #39;t intend for women to vote? You& #39;d never be able to explain huge parts of modern life to them sufficient for them to intend anything about them at all?

I don& #39;t care even slightly about their intentions.

Just because I can see a decent number of replies on this, and with apologies to anyone who may be saying lovely things, but wanted to offer a PSA that my notifications are such that I& #39;m almost certainly not gonna see the mean ones, either, so maybe save your time?
