The problem with ‘reenchantment’ is the “re” part i.e. the fact that it’s a LARP on top of not really believing in the stuff. Also the ‘enchantment’, blessing things w meaning bc you find them meaningless w/o the new mental behavior

I’m already offended by my use of quotation marks in “believing in demons for real” because I feel like it connotes more LARP

(LARP is good sometimes. LARP has a role. All the world’s a play. Performance makes life sweet. Sometimes faking it helps you make it. Etcetera)
