Both ILGA World and Stonewall have issued fresh statements today condemning the claims from Alba Party candidate Margaret Lynch that the organisations are campaigning to lower the age of consent.

Initially the party said it was for the orgs to clarify and not for Ms Lynch to defend, and did not answer the question on official policy
