Dear Christian Singles,
It’s pertinent at this time more than ever to not settle for a relationship or marriage due to desperation. I’ve seen some Christian influencers share about the need for Christian singles to marry quickly cause Christ is coming and no marriage in heaven.

In reality there is a marriage, between the church and Christ. But that’s aside the point. If you’re single and struggling right now this a little note of encouragement just for you.
You see, life is in stages. Each stage has its blessings and it’s lessons. Whatever stage you’re in right now has it’s unique blessings and lessons. God in His mercy prepares us for what lies ahead. Take note of those lessons, so you don’t have to keep repeating seasons.
Count your blessings so you can be encouraged. God knows your heart desires to settle down. He knows them intimately and fully.
The Bible says in Mathew 7: 9-11
[9] Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? [10] Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
[9] Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? [10] Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
[11] If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
Based on this passage do you see how God views your desires? He intends to give you good things.

And marriage is a very good thing. But it’s also a huge responsibility that requires preparation. It needs to happen at the right time when you’re prepared enough to begin that sacred journey.
So I encourage you to surrender to preparation. Get practical and intentional. Ask God to open your mind to ways you can prepare actively.
Then focus on something else. Yes. Get busy in service, pursue a passion, work and build your finances, invest in prayer etc

Cause what you focus on is maximized and what you ignore is minimized. Focusing on that person you don’t have will only promote stress and limit progress. And if it’s hard you can ask God to help you. His grace is sufficient.
Lastly, take courage in God’s unfailing word and in His loving Father heart towards you. Even though you can’t see His hand, trust His heart. He loves you and His desire is to give you good things.
In His perfect time (if Jesus tarries) He’ll make your marriage beautiful.

Hang in there beloved. God’s got you
