I still think most people underestimate how close we came to losing that day. A lasting occupation/siege of the Capitol? Hostages? Trump flag flying? Trump saying "let& #39;s make a deal." Trump still in the White House It could have been fatal to America.

It& #39;s interesting to see how a lie that started with the left, "Cops just let them in cause they& #39;re white!" has been co-opted by the right: "Since cops just let them in, it was no big deal!" (As if they had a 2PM Capitol tour?)

Cops didn& #39;t let them in. Cops fought and died.
