I& #39;m not trying to shame him. I know this is a popular opinion and every woman I know has gotten some variant of, "oh it must have been easy to get a job in tech as a woman".

Just because companies actively "want to hire women" doesn& #39;t mean you& #39;re hired without technical skills.
Every bad faith "debater" on this topic likes to bring up that they once had a coworker who was a woman who wasn& #39;t good at her job as "proof". Anyway it& #39;s cool that I am simultaneously both an authority on hiring that he wants an opinion from (I& #39;m not) but also that I probably don& #39;t deserve my job?
