even without meaning too, a lot of lesbians will try to avoid confronting their own issues and distract others from it by pointing out arbitrary things as lesbophobic.

just sit down and reflect on your own issues and why you deflect them, it’s not bad to admit your faults.

this isn’t a diss on the lesbian community in the slightest, this is a normal response to situations like this. we’re only human.

we get uncomfortable when we realize someone deeply engrained in us and our community is toxic, so we avoid having to deal with it because it makes us feel bad.

just reflect on why you make excuses for it and deflect it, and try to change and fix what’s happening.

it’s not going to change soon because it’s nearly impossible to fix something on an a community level but please, as an individual, recognize the faults and what’s happening and try to stand up against it if you can.

it only takes one person at a time to better something.
