Vaccine day. Let’s goooooo.
I don’t think I’ve ever experienced side effects with any vaccine but I’ll just write here anything I experience for those curious. But note- experiences are based on each persons body and immune system
If it matters- I got Pfizer in Montgomery county, MD. The line was long, but moved quickly. I was in line for approximately 30-35 minutes. Be sure to bring a form of ID with you.
The shot was really quick and pretty painless. The volunteers were friendly. After the shot- they require you to stay 15 minutes just to make sure you’re not going to have a reaction. My arm feels a little sore, but it’s nothing unbearable.
I also took Zicam last night (an immune supplement). I’ll also take it later. I’m not a healthcare professional. I asked a friend with a MPH and they suggested it. You can find it at cvs or other related stores. Probably online as well.
Home now. I took some Tylenol. Still feel fine. Lil sleepy, but not sure if that’s cuz I woke up at 5am on accident https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🥴" title="Woozy face" aria-label="Emoji: Woozy face">
Next update: no pain or soreness at this point. Lol. Ima take this nap tho! Lol.
Next day update: still no mutant powers https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😪" title="Verschlafenes Gesicht" aria-label="Emoji: Verschlafenes Gesicht">https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="💀" title="Schädel" aria-label="Emoji: Schädel"> nah. I feel fine and normal though. I guess the Tylenol and zicam combo is for the win. I’ll use this exact thread to document my second shot in two weeks. https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😌" title="Erleichtertes Gesicht" aria-label="Emoji: Erleichtertes Gesicht">
