The temporary waiver granting the suspension of on-time registration renewal requirements ends April 14, 2021.

Motorists must come into compliance by renewing their registration on or before April 14, 2021.

After April 14, 2021, law enforcement may begin issuing citations to motorists operating a vehicle without a current registration sticker or current registration receipt.

There is no grace period after the 4/14/21 deadline.

Please note: A passing vehicle inspection is required prior to registration renewal. A passing vehicle inspection obtained within the original 90-day period remains valid for registration renewal as long as is not more than one year old. If so, a new inspection will be needed.

If your vehicle registration expires in April 2021, you have until April 30, 2021 to renew your registration. Your passing vehicle inspection must have been obtained no earlier than January 31, 2021.
