Speaking of Enishi. This scene has a tight grip from my poor heart.
"I love you."
"But I& #39;m a commoner."
"I know it, but..."
"And you have a duty."
"... Yes. I do."
"Then you shouldn& #39;t be doing something like this."

There& #39;s so much painful, bitter emotion in this scene.

Enishi, though aware of his status and duties, is also deep in love with Kayo and would give anything to be with her. He wanted to be honest to and therefore showed himself in this attire. It may have not been the most clever thing to do, but he didn& #39;t feel like having a choice.

Kayo eventually runs away, leaving him behind. It& #39;s very understandable, she& #39;s just a commoner and isn& #39;t sure how to feel. She& #39;s still worried the man she has feelings towards plays with her heart or that she& #39;ll become a hindrance to him eventually.

The branching route starts with this strain in their relationship.
