just finished the second (and last?) volume!!! i have several thoughts but overall i think it was pretty good

iâm sure 2 volumes arenât enough to truly develop the romance aspect in the original plot but even with that in mind, iâm still pretty satisfied with how the mangaka ended ithttps://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="đ" title="Kussgesicht" aria-label="Emoji: Kussgesicht"> because the romance wasnât fully developed, it doesnât really feel like an adaptation of an otome game?
imo otome game adaptations tend to be pretty dull but because they donât focus too much on romance, it feels like it could be its own stand-alone thing and honestly, it very well could be with the amount of character development that goes on

the anime sorta tried doing that in its final episode but imo it failed to achieve the same effect because the character development throughout the series werenât as solid + the final conflict just felt kinda... random? (which is why iâm glad that shit wasnât in the manga omg)
