Phones get overwhelming and take over our lives. I was noticing that my screen time wasn& #39;t going down at all no matter how hard I tried. How much time I spent just aimlessly scrolling mundane things that didn& #39;t really matter.

(mini thread)
Social media was definitely taking over too much. I mean, I love it, but it was too easy to just sit and scroll, and scroll, and scroll.

And then just going to different websites, checking e-mails IMMEDIATELY.
I was finding that the major barrier for getting out of bed in the morning was that I would just scroll endlessly and catch up on DMs and texts with friends on the phone. My day would start off slow and I& #39;d always feel behind.
So. Tonight. Enough was enough. I deleted most of my apps, I put restrictions on built in apps to make it really tough for me to use things like the browser etc. My phone now is only for phonecalls/texts/audio. A couple rewards cards that I use. That& #39;s it.
The iBreviary is there only till Saturday as I appear to have lost a volume of my breviary in my move.

Hoping this works (the photo was taken just before I got rid of twitter on the phone). Time to reclaim my life from the phone.
Let me say that it definitely worked this morning. I was out of bed within 8 minutes because I couldn& #39;t just lay there looking at my phone.
