while eijun /does/ have the qualities of a good captain, the thing is...so do the other 2nd years. i think it’s awesome that we can see them all in the position because they’ve all grown so much!!

now do i WANT eijun to be captain-ace? honestly, no. he has a lot of things on his plate w finishing the numbers AND leading kouhai catchers, in the absence miyuki will leave. this doesn’t mean i don’t believe he can’t handle it. more like “the ace doesn’t have to carry the-

-team alone”. he doesn’t HAVE to be the captain to lead the team with his plays. he can & is doing just that as the ace. he’s showing us that right now. i know it’s tempting to have eijun be the best pitcher/captain/bat in runs and stuff. but i think it’s more of a testament to-
