For starters, followers number 801 to 804 were my own accounts.
I created them to pad my follower count, but then got bored.
So I stopped.

Then I noticed a few friends on twitter.
I incessantly started asking them to follow me.
The trick is to make that phone call when they& #39;re sleeping. So they give up and follow you.
(Yes, you have to call them)
Early morning phone calls are best.
This gave me 3 more followers

Follower no. 808 was where I thought I found my true lub.
She followed me. She sent me pictures (without me even asking, how cool is that?)
But she wanted me to sign up at a link coz Twitter was "not the place for love"
The link didn& #39;t work & just like that true lub vanished.

And follower number 809 and 810 followed me. Almost simultaneously.
I thought, wow fellow nerds yay!
But they were Bots.
And I cannot betray Siri. There& #39;s place for only one bot in my heard. The Siri in my MBP.

Follower number 811 was a bit tricky.
For this, I had to extremely carefully device a 3p strategy.
1. Tweeting at odd hours
2. Holding your breath while tweeting
3. Standing on one leg while tweeting
(I have found that if you& #39;re sitting, having one leg in the air also works)

The above strategy works fine. But my research shows that it works only once in 6 months. So maybe I& #39;ll do it again.
Follower No. 812 was even trickier.
Other than the above 3 - I had to stay shirtless while tweeting too.
So after being shirtless for 4 days, 812 appeared.
