We talk about how we need to embrace #yeg as a winter city especially during this C19. Many people, both abled and disabled cant do that if citizens and business owners dont clear their sidewalks. #yegaccess
I& #39;m well aware @CityofEdmonton needs to do their part but home and business owners need to be held accountable. I& #39;ve been collecting tweets and pictures of inaccessible sidewalks in the winter for the last 3 years or so for @AACyeg. Some pics or tweets you may remember.
We need to stop feeling uncomfortable and encourage our neighbors or business owners to maintain and be proud of their sidewalks. #yegaccess
Offer to be a snow angel. Adopt a sidewalk section. Pay a kid from your neighborhood. Work together with your neighbors on your block to create sidewalks all of you can be proud of together and look out for each other. #yegaccess
