God appeared to Moses as a burning bush & asked him directly to lead Israel out of slavery & into the promise land.

4 times Moses said please no God not me!
-I stutter when I speak
-I’m not ready to lead
-pick anyone else

That’s how I felt when I had a tug at my heart to be a foster parent.

My wife & I are feelers!!
We both cried so hard when our dog passed, we get attached easy & love hard!

But we felt God asking, so we said yes.

We instantly loved her so much.

She taught us a lot & expanded our hearts.

We are sending her off with new clothes, toys & a crib.
We invited the dad to our church or to meet & play anytime.
I offered my cell & said let’s hike, lift ,talk dad life as this is his 1st child.

We prayed over her tonight & my wife & I cried 1 time vowing to wake tomorrow

Back on mission ready to crush again!

I’ve always worn my heart on my sleeve.

I sobbed leaving my best buddies in high school after graduation.
I cried for days after my grandfather & grandmother passed away.

I knew this would be hard.
It’s why I begged God no.

But when He asks, we step up.
It’s what my family does.

So we have two open beds now & will be ready to keep more children safe as soon as God puts them here.

When I doubt I go back to Jesus
