If the Supreme Court throws out votes properly postmarked by election day, I don& #39;t know what& #39;s going to happen to this country. That& #39;s the Rubicon. It& #39;s a bell you can& #39;t unring. Destroy American voters& #39; *valid ballots* to ensure Donald Trump stays in power and everything changes.

Different states have different laws, and of course *everyone* should get their votes in *ASAP*. But states with statutes that allow ballots to be received and counted after election day—based on postmark date or any other condition—better have those statutes *honored* by SCOTUS.

I just don& #39;t think Republicans have thought this through—*at all*. The right to vote is one of the fundamental rights enshrined in the Constitution. It& #39;s the bedrock of democracy. If Americans think Trump and his judges are throwing out valid ballots, it& #39;s going to change things.
