I& #39;m joining the Washoe County Registrar of Voters Office for a media briefing at 11:30 this morning to hear some election-related updates.
Let me know if you have any questions you& #39;d like me to try and get answered!
I& #39;ll live-tweet meeting highlights in this thread.

Washoe County Registrar Deanna Spikula says that the county is going to begin counting ballots today and will be live-streaming that process starting at 1 pm today on the Washoe County YouTube channel.
Between now and Saturday the county will be doing a live feed from their back office area where they will be counting absentee and mail-in ballots from 11 am to 5 pm every day.
Spikula emphasizes that people not wanting to stand in long lines should check out the county& #39;s wait-time app.

Spikula emphasizes that Washoe County is doing the best it can to provide "transparency and access" surrounding the election process.
Mail-in ballots are pushing the voter-turnout, Spikula said, adding she is "very pleased" with voter turnout so far.
As far as complaints, in-person voting is going smoothly, Spikula said, but noted that the county is still getting some calls from people who did not receive a ballot.
If you haven& #39;t received a ballot and are not planning on voting in-person, definitely reach out to the county.

The county will send additional notes to reporters and I& #39;ll add anything notable from those documents to this thread. Thanks for following, and reach out if you have any questions.
