Ohio& #39;s Supreme Court has had a conservative majority for DECADES. In fact, it recently had a 7-0 conservative majority. It currently sits at 5-2.
These races are important because the court hears cases involving statewide legislation.

This includes laws involving restrictive abortion bans and partisan gerrymandering in this state. Despite nearly half of Ohioans voting for a Democrat in 2018, only 4 out of 16 of our representatives in Congress are Democrats. The new map will be drawn in 2021.
