Conversations with Armenian friends tonight, and one said to, all the Armenians you see posting online are in the diaspora or Yerevan. You don& #39;t see any Karabakhtsis online. They& #39;re just in the trenches, doing their duty, as they always expected to. They will all die fighting.

This is not a rah-rah talking point, nation of warriors or something. It& #39;s just a different mindset there, in Karabakh and in Syunik. No one you meet there is even fazed by losses, or the war. Losing means they& #39;re gone anyways. A battle for Stepanakert would be so, so bloody.

None of this is to downgrade the contributions of other Armenians, just saying that Karabakhtsis (and Syunik people) are a special breed.
