i cannot count the number of users i used to follow who would openly shit on other people for avoiding a pairing they personally like ,,, i don& #39;t know who needs to hear this , but people have triggers , and that& #39;s okay , if that trigger is your favourite pairing , then so be it
my tl was just full of bkdks screaming at & #39;antis& #39; because they were openly expressing their dislike / discomfort against the pairing . if that is how they see it , then sorry to inform you that you have no actual say in people& #39;s opinions and views
which is the thing most of them were trying to get across ; & #39;don& #39;t like it , avoid it& #39; , and i still agree for the most part , but the blatant hypocrisy was heavily overlooked , and i can& #39;t say i blame those who dislike bkdks because of previously bad experiences with them
i also used to act this way , i also thought i needed to defend the pairing , but that& #39;s not actually the case . all we were doing was getting riled up on our own and hurt people who never asked to be responded to in the first place
decchan is my comfort pairing , i understand , but please , whatever it is you ship or what you do not : do not harass or attack other users who disagree with you , it is immature and irresponsible at best
take a break , feel free to block whoever makes you uncomfortable , even if that is because of disagreements over preferred pairings , that is completely valid and no one should make you feel otherwise ( i& #39;d say i would fight them but my entire argument would fall apart /lh )
conclusion : don& #39;t be an asshole , consider other people& #39;s feelings as well as your own in equal amounts , and do whatever makes you most comfortable , but in under no circumstances should you harass other people
this ended up being WAY longer than i meant it to , but i stand by my point . i hope i explained it well enough
