/ The subsidiary of Palestinian internet infrastructure on #Israel. Cyber command HQ requires independent internet connectivity that doesn& #39;t pass through Israel; the alternative solution is internet via satellites, #Satellite carriers on KA bands are vulnerable to jamming.
/ Hamas do not trust its popular base as Israel maintain substantial penetration power. Israeli drones & local spies can easily spot a safe house in Gaza strip populated with advanced Antennas of 1.2-4 diameters & different LNBs& #39;.
/ #GazaStrip has two commercial land ports, both with Israel which complicates the passage of advanced equipment.
Rafah crossing with #Egypt is relatively more accessible, but it depends on the local Egyptian market & the ability of smuggling the equipment without being noticed.
/ Brains:However, Hamas has moved most of its operational assets into Bitcoin, it& #39;s still complicated to deal with the dark web. The complications of organising training sessions in the Gaza strip as hackers can& #39;t cross the Israeli or the Egyptian borders. Tunnels also are gone.
/ Rise & kill first: Setting up the HQ outside of #GazaStrip complicates #Mossad& #39;s missions in eliminating those who are involved. Especially in a friendly country like #Turkey where non-affiliated state players function as #Hamas& #39;s AWACS.
/ Why a separate commanding hierarchy? Hamas tried by establishing the HQ on new foundations and secret IDs& #39; to prevent any possible leak of identities then assassinations. Hamas leadership clearly does not trust it& #39;s commanding chain in Gaza.
