i& #39;ve posted about this before, but i often get questions about it, so it& #39;s a helpful concept to clarify.
when you have 3+ personal planets (sun, moon, mercury, venus, mars, jupiter, saturn) in 1 sign, it& #39;s referred to as a stellium.

when you have 3+ personal planets (sun, moon, mercury, venus, mars, jupiter, saturn) in 1 sign, it& #39;s referred to as a stellium.
this places emphasis on the whole sign house (area of life + energy of that sign) in your chart.
the house topics may or may not end up being part of your personality, but the area of life will be a large focus for you.

all of the planets in that sign will tie in their own house rulerships, drawing several other areas of life into that life, emphasizing it compoundedly.
outer planets, asteroids, or the ascendant are not treated the same because they do not tie in other house rulerships into the stellium& #39;s whole sign house.
so if you have 2 planets + your ascendant in a sign, i just call it a "quasi-stellium" (close but no cigar).

i myself have mercury, venus, & mars in the leo 8th house. i understood the dramatic leo part at an early age, but it took awhile for the 8th house of shared finances & other people& #39;s resources to make sense in my life.
