Artists: stand up for yourself!! Make sure re-posts are credited properly, make sure your username is visible in your watermark, AND DEFINITELY WATERMARK!! State in your ToS that credit is REQUIRED! You deserve love for your creations!

Customers: Credit your artists!! Link back to their original posts!! If someone comment saying they love it point out your artist again! Help them get that attention they deserve! You can be the power that gets your fave artist more opportunities to do cool work!!

I started this thread after I saw an FA user gushing about my art via someone else’s upload, and have since discovered 90% of their gallery is completely uncredited and if they do credit they don’t post links to the artists https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😬" title="Grimasse schneidendes Gesicht" aria-label="Emoji: Grimasse schneidendes Gesicht"> don’t be afraid to fight for your art to be credited!

The person who posted my art had credited properly as always but the FA user seemingly does not care at all for artists, if you notice someone like this trying to buy from you don’t be afraid to turn them down, you deserve credit and respect.

We can all make big change if we make sure everyone knows that not crediting art means artists won’t sell to them, let’s group together for our rights as independent artists!
