How to ask for physical comfort in the pandemic context: a thread

You try to schedule a meeting with a friend or family member!

You try to have a light conversation where you both participate and listen!!

You slowly and very subtly let your sadness and self-deterioring thoughts show just to test the waters and see the other reaction...

You let long silences more and more frequently appear because you don& #39;t know how to ask directly for physical comfort and can only hope the other magically catches up with your inner needs!

You find yourself staring way too much to the other person and feeling your heart break everytime you realize you probably don& #39;t deserve affection anyway!!! You still try to have casual conversation tough so at least you don& #39;t ruin another moment in your dad pathetic life!

The meeting eventually comes to an end and you feel guilty you didn& #39;t do a better job socializing & also feel crushed by the repression of your need for love! You feel like nobody fcking cares about u and that you& #39;re undeserving of comfort cause of people not guessing what u want
