The anti-intellectual rhetoric has also made its way into mainstream language. "E & #39;di ikaw na matalino" and "Ang dami mong alam" have made their way into Filipinos& #39; list of insults.
Where is that disdain/anger coming from? Is it because education has become a privilege instead of a right? Has this mindset been there all this time?
