mañana acaba el mes de la herencia hispánica y me gustaría utilizar esta oportunidad y introducir mi cultura

hidalgo es una de los estados más ligados con cultura indígena, también llamado después de miguel hidalgo, líder de la guerra de independencia y reconocido como el “padre de la nación” imma do this thread in list format btw let’s gooo

1. folclórico hidalguense (my fave)
la música usada es “son huasteco”, jugado por un trío (huapanguera, huasteca,& violín)y el estilo de baile consiste de zapateado
los trajes son tradicional y simple, influenciado del climate y +

la camiseta y falda varían de colores, adornados w flores, listones, y manga corta. para los hombres la camiseta es blanca con un pañuelo rojo, y con pantalones khakis. el cabello es trenzado con listones y amarado arriba, y los hombres traen puesto sombrero+

2. día de los muertos
en varias áreas, basados con tradiciones huastecos son realizados. uno de estas tradiciones es “danza de xantolo”, donde masked figuras en togas bailan en el centro, en forma desfile.

(i’m gonna say this 1 in english bc i’ve act. done it &it was so fun) another tradition is when kids dress up in costumes & dance around from door to door like trick or treat but instead of candy you get invited in to eat

telantogo es famoso por su pools temperadas. en el cañón también contiene un rio y grutas (my family went one time and the only photo we took was of me crying bc my cousin spilled an entire beer on me and they said that’s good enough)
