The Article 15.1 of the Constitution reads :
"The State shall not discriminate against any citizen on grounds only of religion,race,caste,sex,place of birth or any of them."
What is this if not secularism ?
The concept of secularism was already in the original constitution.

Article 26 further clarifies that any religious denomination has the right to manage their own affairs and organisations.
