Burn the Witch:
One of the most used critics I& #39;ve seen a lot is how meaningless its action sequences and dialogues are, which in my honest opinion is completely untrue. A character doesn& #39;t need to be deeply toned or heavily characterized in order to be likeable.
One of the most used critics I& #39;ve seen a lot is how meaningless its action sequences and dialogues are, which in my honest opinion is completely untrue. A character doesn& #39;t need to be deeply toned or heavily characterized in order to be likeable.
Meandering actions can be more memorable at some points. Noblesse, which is a great story in itself is heavily looked down upon for its action sequences and incohesive scenes. Burn the Witch deserves more respect not hate for this.
In fact, it& #39;s these sorts of subtlety and slice of life action parts that makes a Ninny and Noel more likeable. Some instances being the pictures below,
These pics aren& #39;t comedically great nor are the dialogues. But, it& #39;s still 2 of the most memorable frames from whole 3 episodes in my opinion. Some people claimed girls from BTW are overly sexualized. But that& #39;s not true. These scenes aren& #39;t overly sexualized whatsoever.
Alright, that& #39;s about enough fanboying for now. I still feel it should& #39;ve focused more on world building. I& #39;d have preferred to see how Reverse London looked like. It went full throttle on action driven story from the get go
I still have my hope for new seasons. Hope we& #39;ll see more of Reverse London. This has a really good potential.
One thing I don& #39;t agree with a lot of people is how they complain "it would& #39;ve been a nice dive into the repercussions of escapism and isolation from reality." Everyone have diff bases for escapism. But still, people fail to realise that BTW isn& #39;t entirely -
based on fairy tale or shit. It& #39;s still a part of Bleach universe evident by this frame. I feel that people& #39;re wanting escapism excessively more while failing to realize this is more targeted for old Bleach fans wanting to see more of Kubo I don& #39;t know if their basis for escapism
is bleach or not. But for me, certainly I haven& #39;t felt this good watching anime for a long time. It& #39;s definitely my basis for escapism.
I& #39;ve said my part. One of my other favourite moment was this image with BLEACH red highlights over Burn the Witch. I love how intentional Kubo is at making these things.
All things aside, this image was totally unnecessary. I don& #39;t like this.
