When Josiah Bartlet had come along, I& #39;d felt giddy with excitement, lol. To this day though, I remember the India episode, which when it had been complemented by my reading of NYT& #39;s India coverage had told me, even back then, that white people perception was a v different thing.
That said, it& #39;s fiction that brings out, most beautifully, the dignity of American politics. Which is why Trump is even more shocking for some of us. Haha.
