So now @YCDSB is expecting teachers to teach both in-person & virtual at the same time?
Those are two completely different modes of learning.
Are they worried their teachers aren& #39;t being worked to a breakdown fast enough?

Many of you might wonder how different is this from having a meeting with a Skype call.
Easy.
That& #39;s a meeting with a Skype call in a room full of adults.
And that& #39;s a classroom of students with different needs & considerations which one adult has to manage for 6 hrs a day.

I don& #39;t understand why anyone thinks this is sustainable. They either don& #39;t care and just want to keep pulling the rug under teachers until they stop getting up because they& #39;re dead from exhaustion...or they& #39;re completely out of touch with how teaching works.
This is not going to be a good experience for students. Inevitably some students are going to be left behind because who can do this?
Imagine you& #39;re organizing a birthday party.
With a room full of cats.
And some of these cats are outside.
And you& #39;re inside.

And yeah sure you can get those outside cats& #39; attention...but then those indoor cats...
Anyway this is all crazy and completely unsustainable.
