Guys, I might cry. My parents (who live in FL) are lifelong Republicans. I’ve been trying w/my sis to talk to them calmly about what is at stake. They are fair, reasonable, loving and compassionate people. I understand how they supported the party, (both grew up poor and ‘pulled themselves up by the bootstraps’) but I think they have now seen how the GOP has dramatically changed from what it once was.

It was a confluence of debunking some lies, asking them to think about the next generation + their disdain for Trump.
