I am not happy when I have the feeling that I have no time to be here, sharing some stuff as I always did since 2007. Sometimes I don’t know how to face being more talkative here. Not sure if it’s a matter of time or it’s a matter of organization.
Have a lot of great stuff to share about the company, about projects, about the team, also about my personal life. I don’t fine enough time to be calmed and relaxed to start tweeting.
It doesn’t mean that I am stressed or something like that. It’s a matter that days became longer and I have no free time slots as I had before just to take a look in my timeline and share some stuff.
Anyway, I would like to share some updates that I think are interesting to let you know. First of all, I am keeping the diet getting great results. This is extra slow but I’m happy to keep going.
Talking about the company, yesterday and today we just signed a new client that we wanted to work with long time ago. I’m really proud of the sales team because we are getting excellent results. Pandemic time became a big surprise in terms of sales in the user experience area.
In terms of projects we are super busy. This days I’ve been involved trying to help some client to fix a small mess that appeared surprisingly on the table. And you know what? It’s absolutely inspiring working with no budget and no project to help others.
Nothing is wrong. Of course I work for money but sometimes it’s a matter of trustworthy. Working on UX area I learned long time ago trustworthy is one of the critical company skills that we should develop and improve. And show every time.
In terms of my team we keep growing. Next week I’m planning to publish 3 new positions that we have are about to open in the company. This week we welcomed a new intern. It’s absolutely amazing help young people to get ready in the UX area.
Definitely we moved our internal communications into English. Right now not all the people in the team are Spanish speaking. So there’s no more excuses, we have to use English language as a vehicular language.
Yes I know, my English is not perfect, but I’m not perfect, I’m just human. I don’t really care if I make mistakes. I am absolutely open to receive feedback, if any. But this thread is not about my English level. It’s a narrative about growing: personal, company, team, skills.
