You do not have a 1A right to cram into shuls, and wedding halls, and grocery stores, without masks or distancing and spread a dangerous virus.

You do, however, have a 1A right to have ridiculous protests like this.

Such ingratitude for a city that has been so good to us.

You want people to stop blaming us Orthodox Jews for spreading the virus?

Stop prolifically spreading it.

But sure, accuse me, an Orthodox Jew who lives and breathes this world, of being an anti-Semite. After I’ve defended our community since the beginning on this, and have been spreading the alarm about violent anti-Semitism for years. You look foolish. And I won’t be quiet.

Yes, I’m angry about this. And I’m so, so sad for the implications.

I& #39;m sorry to be harsh. These are my people. I love being Orthodox, I love being Jewish, and I love our communities. I also have so many loved ones who have suffered from this terrible disease, and yes, the closures too. To see this be our response is utterly painful.
