Not at all surprised by the Poch talks after today. Could have bet my lifeâs savings on this coming up again. Poch is a great mgr. No doubt in anyoneâs mind. But, he has won nothing though. Folks who imply Poch is the answer, I donât know how you see Poch being successful @ #MUFC
Poch will face the same problems as Van Gaal, Jose and now Ole have faced. Cycling through managers is now happening like clockwork. At every make or break transfer window the mgr is not backed
Then heâs forced to work with what heâs got. Ole got us third after shipping out 9-11 first team players. If you did not call for Poch when Ole had an unbeaten run since the restart and got us to third, then you have no right to call for his head now.
Back the manager. See the forest from the trees. Pundits and journalists are quick to grab headlines and call #OleIn backers deluded. None of them said bring in Poch after Ole finished third. If you switch your opinion after one massive defeat, then you donât see the core issue.
Donât be swayed by media and fan personalities that go from #OleIn to Ole Out at the drop of a hat. Also take a step back and see...
... how the media treats Lampard vs Ole. Lampard got an almost brand new starting 11, and got thrashed. How many said get Poch to Chelsea? Hypocrisy and delusion rampant. If you get food poisoning do you blame the chef or the waiter? Ole is doing everything for the club he loves
If you call for his head when things are down, perhaps find a new club. There are plenty of âfansâ switching clubs these days because we are not good enough. We are not. But Iâll ferociously defend Ole until his last day as manager
Whether thatâs in a few weeks or in a few years. Also, let me be clear. I know exactly when Ole makes mistakes. I donât like his sub strategy generally including today. And I am not deluded in thinking he can do no wrong. But the manâs giving his life for the club
Least we can do is support him in good times and bad. Call out his mistakes. But never forget where the real issues like. Brining in Poch is like a bandaid. It will make it look good for a while but will come off sooner or later ...
... and put Poch in exactly the same situation as Ole is now. If you donât think thatâll happen just look back into his interviews before getting sacked by Spurs. He started calling out lack of transfers. Happened in 5 years at Spurs...
