I& #39;ve been thinking a lot about this "wish him well" insistance, and it& #39;s starting to feel toxic. Many people have been abused and traumatized by this regime. Asking people to wish their abuser well is further traumatizing. 1/x

I can pray for the well being of the United States because Trump& #39;s death in this moment might cause greater damage without wishing him well. 3/x
But, no one is obligated to hope the President recovers. Or wish him well. And no one should be shamed for not shing their abuser well. It& #39;s a cruel and unrealistic burden. 4/4
